I bought this light for a compact pistol and it has not disappointed. It's small, light, fits great, looks good, and is easy to install. It throws a nice evenly spread flood light that is perfect for indoor use. I also have a Streamlight TLR-1S that is a little more powerful and throws a more concentrated beam. The Streamlight might be a better choice for greater distance outdoor use but the CT is my choice for indoor use. Also, the paddle on-off switch on the CT is well designed and very easy to use which is important for a high stress situation. I've only put 50 rounds through the gun since installing the light so I can't speak to long term reliability but so far everything is working just fine. I really can't think of any way I could improve this light. If you are looking for a light that will fit just about any pistol then you really don't need to look any further than this one.

Lets go back to Black Friday 2019. My local gun shop in CT had some amazing deals for Black Friday. Being a new permit holder, I wanted some budget friendly guns to get my feet wet in the process. They had the Smith & Wesson SD9VE 9mm with this Crimson Trace light attached for 269$. After researching the CT tact light, I realized I am getting the Smith for under $200! SOLD!!!!After checking out the light post purchase I was obsessed. This is one the of best looking, easy to function, quality tact lights I have ever come across. I quickly looked up where I can buy a 2nd and stumbled on a great deal from OpticsPlanet! Now I have a 2nd CT tact light on my Glock 17. BUY IT!

I'd been looking for a light for a long time and came across this one. Paid just over 100 for it, incredible value. 1 cr123 battery, bright as could be, illuminates very well. Switching modes takes about 5 seconds. Wish could be a single tap, double tap type programming to go between on and flash mode. Overall I'd buy it all over again!Pros: Compact, ambidextrous, bright lightCons: Wish switching modes was faster

Literally the easiest piece of kit I’ve added to a weapon. Slides right on to the place you prefer on the rail. The ambidextrous instant on – off/on paddle switches are large and super easy to find and operate. I bought two and I’m buying three more.
