I own an MRO, and a micro-prism. This Eotech beats both by a long shot. I really like the chevron reticle. The .5 dot is perfect. The sight is easy on the eyes and the size/weight doesn’t bother me at all.Button press to turn the sight on is superior to a dial turn like my Mro and micro prism.

Have been wondering why there wasn’t more reticle options for eotech holographics and now my answer has been fulfilled. The 7 reticle point is a nice addition for my home defense rifle. Looks and seems to be same great quality of sight but time will tell. Look forward to more modded equipment from optics in the future. My only complaint is the opmod decal is giant and really takes away from the sights aesthetic

I have wondered for a very long time why no one has made a reticle like this… the lower dot is for very close engagement to compensate for the muzzle to optic difference… aka mechanical offset. Especially for CWB weapons. This is the last part of a nice MP5 clone build and what a great choice!!! I have a few EOtechs and this is rapidly becoming my favorite.

Finally took the EOTech to the range/course. After putting the unit trough the ringer I can say is awesome. Not only you get your standard EOTech but that 7yr chevron is a game changer. Not only I’m 100% accurate but I’m not guessing were to aim at that close of a distance.

I wanted more than a red dot & after doing a lot of research I decided to go with this OPMOD optic. I wanted an optic that I know is well made & can handle any I may throw at it, just in case. I really like the chevron for CQB, it helps your eye focus on the target instead of having the circle & hash mark. I have astigamtism so I do notice the "fuzzy" reticle but I dim it down a bit to make it better. I know after lots of practice I will not even see it. If you want a superior optic & want something different get this OPMOD optic, you will not be disappointed.

I stand by my five star review, this is a great optic for the price. This optics has all of the features of the Exps3 except for night vision. So this optic can survive up to 33 meters in water like the exps 3. Eotech even released the DCR, which is this OPMOD reticle wrapped up in a exps 3 package.I actually had to return my OPMOD Eotech to optics planet. The lenses started to delaminate, (common Eotech issues).I highly suggest if you buy anything, you go for the OPMOD version, optics planet gave me a full refund for the optic. If I got the Eotech version I would’ve had to pay $100 for lamination repair. After this experience with optics planet OPMOD products, I will solely purchase OPMOD products. They stand behind their products 100%. This is the best warranty service I have ever received, I plan on getting a different optic with the refund, something without known delaminating issues as I am in the humid south. Thank you optics planet!
