These FAB Defense handguards as well as the handgrip and the folding stock take the VZ58 / VZ 2008 to a whole new level of tacti-cool. The forward handguards do a wonderful job of controlling the heat that you would previously experience from the wood composite ones. The fit is tight so your add-on optics are firm and stable with no movement on the rifle. I was more than pleased with all the FAB products. These items transform the VZ58 from an old-looking Czech rifle to a state-of-the-art urban warfare platform. I highly recommend all the FAB products for the VZ58.

They fit tight. They are sturdy. They are superbly done. They make your 58 look modern. Down side is that plastic melts, though this stuff melts at a very high temp…for plastic. My only reservation would be for a 58 that was full auto or for a guy that does 15 mag dumps…..450 rounds in a little over a minute or so and the wood trimmed CZ 58 gun on YouTube smoked but didn't catch fire like the AK did. Buy this.I hung a laser and a light on the upper and a hand-grip/bi-pod on the lower. Optics should be mounted at the rear IMHO.

This product seems to be a returned item, they are dirty and have some damage on them, most importantly, this item does not fit onto my vz 58 what so ever. I do not know FAB, but this is a bad buy. I also buy the folding stock from them, an it does not fit as well.

This is a terrific product. It took some filing, sanding, and muscle to get the upper and lower to fit onto my rifle. Once I had things locked down, however, it was rock solid. Zero wiggle or rattle. Looks great, too!

First, they advertise it as Quick & Easy Installation. WRONG! No instructions. Nothing fits. Lower handguard is too long and inside of it is too narrow, It will take a lot of trial & error filing, sanding to get it to fit
