Honestly, I can't believe I've done without this for so long. Between this and a quality electronic auto powder dispenser my back and mental fatigue after a long reloading session on precision rifle ammo is gone. Directions are easy to follow and setup was quick. This has cut my brass trimming and prep by at least 75%. I was using Lyman and Lee hand/electric drill kits and they are very time consuming, not to mention boring. I've used it on multiple high caliber bottle neck rifle cartridges with extremely precise results. Buy with confidence!

Case trimming is good and repeatable. It's nice that you dont have to buy extra pieces to change calibers. My only negative, is that if you bump the locking collar, the depth changes. Nothing actually locks in your measurements from accidental changes.

Using this multi-functional tool couldn't be easier. Eliminates the need for working brass using individual hand tools. Increased finished product in a fraction of the time. Quick & easy. Glad I found it.

Really changes the game with this platinum series.. Speed of prepping match cases for load setups is really nice. Can be a bit noisy after some time of use, but tolerable .Good value after coupon discount.

Excellent machine. I've been reload since 1975 on and off and this makes case prep a lot faster. My first job was prepping 1k 308, piece of cake everything worked perfect. Now for what I'm not to happy about. not much room to do 300 acc. The Collete is made out of aluminum and seems to wear making inconsistent trimming with the short 300 acc cases and very hard to pull back out. I'm going to call the company and see if they have a solution.

Reasonably priced electric case prep unit trims and chamfers cases and cleans primer pockets on a wide variety of cases. Unit indexes on case shoulder by use of various size collets and inserts. User trims case by adjusting the cutter head and then pressing the case into the unit to meet the cutter. User will feel and see the cutter removing excess brass. Case is trimmed when the user feels no more resistance as the case is pressed against the cutter. Case sizing is not uniformly precise because of indexing on shoulder so care must be taken to measure as cases are trimmed. Machine has good power/torque and can be positioned in several configurations to suite the operator. The supplied cutter head does not employ a pilot but its spindle and the other tool mounts have an industry common thread so other attachments can be substituted as desired. Adjustment of the cutter head is trial and error despite the markings etched on the adjustment ring. The user will become reasonably proficient with practice and avoid excessive trimming.Recommend cleaning after use to remove buildup of brass shavings and other crud. Spray with gun cleaner and use a brush.May not be quite as precise or as multifunctional as some other (considerably more expensive) units but is well made, durable, effective and very reasonably priced. Recommend strongly with the few caveats mentioned.
