The calf strap is comfortable and a must have for your ankle holster. I can't imagine trying to wear my ankle holster without it. The Velcro strap makes it easy to adjust and once on, my ankle holster stays put.

This ankle holster is so comfortable. Zero hot spots. Worth every dime. This is my second. First used everyday for almost 2 years. Still works, just a little loose. Can fix velcro and will be good as new. Will buy again when this one wears out.

I believe this is a must-have component of the ankle carry method. I wouldn't ankle carry without this strap. It really helps to keep the firearm and ankle holster from sliding further down your leg. The only complaint I have it that the strap going around/above your calf can be uncomfortable at times (scratchy); however readjustment usually fixes that issue. I use this product with a Galco ankle holster and an XDS in 40 caliber.

I bought the Galco ankle calf strap with the Galco lite holster I'm short 5'6" I had to take the ankle calf strap to a shoe repair shop to get it to fit the strap that fits the holster has the hook and loop Velcro in the wrong place so you can't adjust to hold the holster in place the strap that goes around your leg fits ok but the end of the strap just hangs they need to put more Velcro on so the extra can be held without hanging down on your leg. I bought the DeSants ankle die hard holster and support strap and they both work well easy to adjust no hang straps I sent back the Galco lite holster keep the support strap since I modified it. The Galco Cop holster works well but it needs a loop for the ankle strap I bought it for my daughter and we used the DeSants ankle strap on it having a loop put on the holster it is the best concealable holster.
