Galco Kimber 5 Inch 1911 W/Weaponlight Halo Belt Holster R Black HLO212B is designed to comfortably carry a pistol equipped with a weaponlight, the Halo remains compact enough for realistic concealment of a light-equipped pistol. Most real-world use of pistols – whether by law enforcement officers or lawfully armed citizens – occurs in hours of low light. Plainclothes officers and civilians who prefer to equip their pistols with a weaponlight need a holster that is compact enough to conceal, yet fast and fumble-free to draw. The Galco Halo’s vertical orientation allows a smooth draw without cocking the wrist, while its thumb-break retention strap combines positive control of the pistol with a fast and efficient draw. Riding high and close to the body, the Halo also offers excellent concealment of the large pistols that are typically equipped with weaponlights. The Galco Halo is constructed of premium saddle leather, fits belts up to 1 3/4″ wide, and is made for semiautomatic pistols and is available in right hand design, in black. The holster allows my Kimber 1911 with Viridian laser/light to slide in and out easily. I am so glad I found a holster that allowed the light on the gun also. Very durable black leather.Pros: very durable, stylishCons: none

The Galco HLO212B holster fits my Kimber TLE/RL II with a Stream light TLR-1 HL like a glove. The holster rides nice and high and close to the body just the way I like it. Very little break in was needed for a smooth snag free draw. Double stiching around the belt loop. The thumb breaking strap has a nice plastic ring around the inside metal snap that keeps it from scratching the pistol. BUT if you carry your 1911 in the hammer back and locked position the thumb break strap disengages the safety. Galco's info guide states that the holster is designed for "hammer down, empty chamber carry". I hope the bad guys will allow me to load the chamber and or pull back the hammer before he shoots me first.
