The slightly increased length provides more mechanical advantage for positive locking, but won’t lock the barrel open wider than necessary for some uses. This feature allows some smith and smith adjustments to personalize the pistol to owners own preferences. The extended stop lever provides added advantage for some operations, allowing you to engage from the front or back with a clean draw. Features an enlarged lever and a standard spring for strength. Slide stop itself is fine. Need another one for my gen 5 glock19. But I had to swap the springs because the one this came with was extremely weak and would not allow slide to go forward when racking slide from the rear. Swapped it with spring from my factory g45 slide stop and it works exactly as it supposed to.

It definitely worth the money for the 19 and you have big hands. This piece actually makes a difference. I will be buying again for any other gen 5 guns i get

I’ve done it all with my glocks. Trust me stick with OEM parts if you want a reliable pistol. I wish I saved the money I’ve wasted buying “performance” parts just to make a great gun not work right. This is an OEM slide release and works every time.

Not pretty looking but it works great. I've had aftermarket parts fail or just not work right. This is factory Glock, engineered and tested. Buy with confidence.
