This is the best sunshade I've ever bought. I've tested it in every position and it doesn't allow any glare into my rifle scope the best thing about it is it doesn't lengthen the front of the scope more than 1/4 in

I am pleased with the shade. seems plenty sturdy. cuts the glare on a bright day. easy to take on and off. In the twilight it does reduce the light coming through the scope a bit, so I would just take it off hunting in low light, not hard. overall I like it and like the smallness of it compared to a tube shade. Fit and finish are excellent… Very well made and works excellent! Should be included but worth the expense, which is in the ball park for competitors that offer the same product. Hawk is definitely a very nice quality brand.

I have purchased 2 kill-flash lenses and I recommend that if you are a tactical shooter or hunter you would do well to obtain and employ this lens on your rig. This will eliminate the need for a sunshade and diminish your profile for that crucial shot, and Hawk sport optics offers an excellent lens at a very fair price.

The honeycomb sunshade works very well to prevent animals from seeing the flash of your optics front lens when light hits it. This flash can alert the animal to your presence. It simply screws into the front of your scope. It also offers shade from bright sunlight in a very short package.
