Better glass than I expected at the price, and the build quality, fit and finish are quite good. It's light because of the body but it still feels strong and solid. The focus range is two full turns and this allows for precise and detailed focusing and a clear image. I've attached a section of 1913 rail to the 1/4-20 tripod mount so I can use it during the day, and mount it in front of my inexpensive digital night vision monocular for night use. I like the captive rubber front lens cap and the way the ocular ring clicks into position. It succeeds at everything it's supposed to do.
