I have one mounted on a Henry 22 WMR,and it is fantastic. Very easy to mount, level and zero. I have mine coupled with a varmint light, which is adjustable to the sight picture. The light is red, so I use the green reticle, which I adjust with the rheostat, providing perfect contrast. With this setup, I can make precision night shots on Coyotes within 100 yards, without a problem. I'm purchasing another one for a CZ.

For the price, this one is will be very hard to beat. The glass is stellar and of superior quality compared to others in this price range. The finish is even and looks wickedly slick. The turret caps, once removed are super easy to get started back on. The turret clicks are very noticeable and precise. AO is very easy to dial in the focus. It took me less than a quarter turn focus up the reticle. Mounting the optic was a snap with the satin finish. I could not be any happier this this purchase. I will be picking up the 4-12X50 next time.

Garrett's sporting goods in meridian Mississippi recommended Hawke Scopes to me.. I thank them everyday. CW the owner told me and I quote I'll sell you any expensive scope you want back there my selection but you won't be the better scope and if you use it for a year or five years and don't like it bring it back and I'll sell you another one of them expensive Scopes anytime any place you want if you any problem I'll get you a new one. That was five hawke scopes ago.. the scope is clear as a bell optically speaking. And handle recoil from any caliber rifle just fine… Folks to the arithmetic pick any scope and look at the money I've saved and on my 100% satisfied customer for hawkebscopes

Love the scope and how it looks both on the gun and through the lens.. The yardage and the illumination are awesome.

I got this scope for 17hmr & 22wmr-It's hands down one of the best scopes I've owned! I own Leupolds, Redfields, Vortex, Weaver, Nikon, & Bushnell, & this scope is just as good if not better than scopes of comparable price points!

Was looking for a scope to put on my new Savage A17 and really didn't want to go the cheap plastic route. Read through all the scope options on Optics Planet and chose this scope even though at the time there was only one review. Couldn't be happier! Great workmanship, very tight. Clean glass and NO distortion at 12 power. The best thing about it is the folks at Hawke didn't screw up the width of the cross hairs. For varmit shooting (small targets) when you zoom in on max power, some manufacturers have the crosshairs so thick it obscures the actual target. Not Hawke, Not this scope. I think these two will make a great pair for a long time. Now, because of their good work on this scope, I'm adding Hawke to my list of longer range scope in the near future. Nice not to get burned.
