This is a well made Lyman Shooter's Bag Jack that is a welcome addition to my range gear. I have two Lyman shooter's bag's of different height's and when I saw this product I knew it was just what I wanted.

Returned mine today for a refund. Very poor design. Could not believe Lyman put their name on this product. Cannot be used with a heavy rifle, adjustment wheel is to close to bench, very hard to turn with anything heavy on it, when raised it shifts from side to side. Not made for any rifle with recoil.

I received this item today and was rather disappointed when I opened the box and tried it out.I like Lyman products and had great expectations of this jack.First off, it's really not sturdy enough to handle the weight of a serious bench rifle.Combine the weight of a shooting bag with the rifle and this thing finds itself in real trouble.If you use it with the control knob back towards yourself. the unit allows a lot of sway from side to side.Turning it to its side improves things a bit, but everything is still rather spongy and nowhere secure enoughfor long range accuracy.I'll probably keep it but relegate its use to casual plinking with 22s and handguns. It's a great idea, but needs to be built with a lot more zest.

This thing worked great for all of one range day. Not shooting anything crazy just a couple 6.5 creedmoors, it goes in my range bag collapsed all the way and doesn’t get touched again. Now only half of the thing lifts and lowers and because of that it’s ridiculously hard to turn. It’s next to unusable now. Very disappointed.

Good quality reasonable price works great off the bench you are able to set the height to a position that is most comfortable for YOU not the general shooting public wish I had seen one sooner! Really sucks to get old but as long as things like this are available I’ll be shooting for a long time to come!
