This prep center is very easy to use. Plus with it being a top load setup all the brass filings stay contained for easy removal. This is truly on of the best prep stations you can get. All the correct attachments are included so no need to buy more. Power switch is easy to access and the unit is very quiet running during those late sleepless nights.

The Lyman Case Preparation Xpress Center is great, however it showed up at my door in the original box and the lid wasn't even taped shut! All of the parts were in the box and had no damage! Is this how you ship everything?

I bought this due to accumulating a great deal of brass. The manual method was slow and frustrating. This prep center makes case prep so much easier and I would certainly recommend it to anyone considering any sort of upgrade to their current prep method. In the last week I have prep in excess of one thousand shells and not suffering the sore fingers the small manual prep tools inevitably leave me with.

Have been using the case prep station for 5 months now. This is my first powered tool by Lyman. For years I've used the standard hand tools to clean the primer pockets, debur, chamfer etc… with really no desire to make it more complicated. As the number and types of cases have increased (along with age) I was amazed at how my hands felt the day after a reloading session. With this equipment a 2 handed operation has been turned to 1 without the need for any real twising motions. Simple pressure on the right tool gets the job done. The drive seems powerful enough as you can apply some pretty stout pressure and it keeps the heads turning. You don't loose any feel on the case when you're chamfering, so I've been able to still detect small cracks in the neck as the cutter head catches an edge. It's not a silent machine, but certainly quiet for a garage type setting and no louder than the tumbler. I like that the space for the 5 driven heads will accept attachments from other brands (like the RCBS primer pocker primer brush) and catches the filings/ash. Will always have the hand tools as back-up, but certainly will default to using the prep station. Good tool.Pros: Attachments interchangable with other brandsCons: None

I choosed this one because of the easy access to the deburrers and well thought out placement of the dump tray. I have a hand chamfering tool but wanted to go powered. Nice benchtop model. Nice accessory to my loading bench.

Normally I don't believe all the hype about products I read about, BUT, when my Son brought me 5000 once fired .223 cartridge cases to load for him, that's when I thru my hands up and ordered the Lyman case prep Center. I can't believe how simple it was to operate and increased speed, WOW, I normally due about 200-250 cases a day with my hand method, but the first day, full-length resizing, de-prime, trimming and using the using the Lyman Prep Center I produced close to 700 completed cases, and that is with stops for COFFEE, water, and lunch and finished about 2:00pm that same day. WOW, that sold me. I definitely will recommend it to anyone that reloads any ammo. Great product. Now to see if it holds up under the load I have left to do.
