This mould and one other Lyman mould I purchased recently have a common problem. Their cast dia. is just at minimum dia. In my opinion their tooling is wearing out and they will not fix the problem. The other mould I sent back twice and yes they did replace with another that was just as bad. Waste of shipping and insurance on my part. The bullets from this mould sized at .356 did not fully clean up.Also, in my opinion the bevel base is to deep causing a mess and a waste when lube/sizing.I'll not purchase another Lyman mould.

Awesome mould! Retains heat very well so you don't have to rush. Very few "mistakes". After a minor break-in period and adjusted my alloy mixture slightly, I dropped several hundred perfectly shaped boolits in no time. Only a few with some minor imperfections. The accuracy with this heavier round is incredible. Even in my 9mm pocket pistols, with the short barrels, very consistant out to thirty feet. Best looking and performing boolit I cast. Pros: I got me one and the Hatfields don'tCons: I wishd theyd havem sum hanels….maw says it gitten HOT!!

I prefer the steel mould over aluminum. Most aluminum moulds I've owned worked just fine but seem to wear quickly. Some of the steel moulds I've used are over 50 years old. This one is very well made and the four cavity design really helps production. At just over a hundred bucks it won't take very long to pay for itself.
