What can I say, most of Magpul are spot on. They may be called “iron sights” but now a days they are plastic….. oh well. Nice, fully adjustable but a little pricey. I suppose you don’t want JUNK on something that may be your last line of defense. These are the only sights I am using on my AR15 pistol. With a 7 1/2 inch barrel and 66 year old eyes these will be fine up to 75-100 yards. After that I will need a long gun with a red dot �

These sights are amazing. Was worried about the durability of a synthetic polymer over iron but are in fact very durable. Won’t bend like iron. Sights flip up and take down easily. Accurate setup. That’s all I gotta say.

Product is as advertised. Not the best, certainly not the worst. "Good bang for the buck" as they say and OpticsPlanet.com certainly has the best price. The only complaint I have is OpticsPlanet.com should not advertise an item in stock if it is indeed not in stock. I ordered the sites on 10/20/23 and they didn't ship until 11/3/23. Not a long time I admit but I had to call to find out if the order had gone through because I had not yet been charged. When I called I was informed that the sites had come in that day (Nov 2) and would likely ship out to me the next day. Other than this, I would definitely recommend Magpul and Optics Planet.

This item is the front sight and part of a second set of a like set of Magpul front & rear flip up sights, all installed on our AR15s & used as backup sights. Though inexpensive & constructed of plastic, they are light in weight, rugged, made in the U.S.A. and truly NOT a toy. Adjustments, using the Magpul tool provided, are easy.Pros: Compact, light weight, easy to adjustCons: Front sight post may be difficult to locate depending on user's vision limitations.
