The PMAG 10/30 AR/M4 GEN M3 is a 10-round polymer magazine for AR15/M4 compatible weapons chambered in 5.56×45 NATO/.223 Remington. It was designed for users who reside in areas with magazine capacity restrictions but desire a standard 30-round magazine form. Built in-line with our other PMAGS, the PMAG 10/30 provides the same next-gen impact and crush resistance, constant curve geometry, and long-life stainless-steel spring to ensure smooth feeding. We’ve added a proprietary lock plate that reduces the maximum capacity to 10 rounds, and it’s permanently secured by an aluminum rivet. A lock plate tab that’s clearly marked for capacity is also included. With the standard 30-round magazine form, the PMAG 10/30 maintains mag pouch compatibility while complying with local restrictions. The PMAG 10/30 includes other features found throughout the GEN M3 line. Its redesigned bolt catch notch in the rear of the magazine provides increased bolt catch clearance, while an over-travel stop on the spine helps ensure the magazine will not over-insert on compatible weapons. Low profile ribs and new, aggressive front and rear texture give positive control of the PMAG 10/30 in all environments, and a paint pen dot matrix located at the bottom panel of the body allows for easy marking for identification. For those reading this, if you **don't** live in a state that restricts you to 10 rounds, then you likely would be buying this unnecessarily. If you live in such a state (like me), then you can buy this to give some "coolness factor" on the range to your rifle. These mags are light weight and there is no problem loading rounds. The PMAG engages in my lower receiver without a problem.

I don't want to buy these, but I have to. They are sturdy and fit nice in the magwell and in my opinion they look better than 10 round mags. I wish they would make 10/20 mags because the 20 round mags are cool.

I’m a huge Pmag fan, but when the magazine is full with 10 rounds it is very hard to seat and have the magazine release engage. A hard slap on the bottom of the magazine will do it. With 9 rounds there is no issue.

My lousy state banned standard cap mags. We are fighting it. These mags are the next best thing till they ban black rifles.They are only 10 rds but don't look as goofy as the stubby ones. They are magpul so gtg.Instead of one you have to have three and practice mag changes…SMH

Being a law abiding citizen,these 10 round Pmags are good enough for people like me who live in a non free state. Unfortunately preban magazines are double, triple the price of a standard non preban magazines.

I'm in California so these are my best option. Price is good. Shipping is good. My next purchase will be the 10 pack of magazines. Time to stock up on these while I can. Only thing I wish is that magpul made a 10/20 rounder.
