The Magpul Pro 700 – Fixed Stock rifle chassis is an uncompromising, full featured precision rifle chassis for short action Remington 700 actions and other Remington 700 footprint actions. This stock is absolutely amazing. The fit and finish is top notch. The barrel in the chassis doesn’t even come close to touching. The grip is adjustable for any size of hand. I look forward to shooting my Remington 700 even more due to the ergonomics of this chassis. Great job Magpul and thank you Optics Planet for the amazing customer service and fast shipping.

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. My old shoulder could not handlethe recoil on my Remington 700 tactical and I had given up on shooting it any more. Isaw this stock advertised in a gun magazine and looked it up on the internet. I justhad to try it. Optics Planet had the best deal so I ordered it. It arrived Quickly andwas easy to install. I went to the range to try it out and what a difference. Its apleasure to shoot my Remington now. I love the pistol grip and magazine feeding. It's a pleasure not havingto battle the scope when reloading. Most of all, no hurting shoulder. This stock is extremely comfortable. I recommend it highly, and if you have any doubts, don't. To me it was worthevery penny.

The chassis overall is well built. There is a flaw in its design however. The fixed stock prevents you from being able to use a bore guide and in some cases you can't remove the bolt without removing the stock. The same chassis with the folding stock is what you want for bolt action. I ended up buying the hinge for the stock so it can be folded. No more issues with cleaning/servicing my rifle–I only have to fold the stock over to work on it now.
