This is a low cost and effective product from Magpul for a secure hand position on your forestock with Picatany rail. I have found it to be more comfortable than Magpul forward slant grip! You can adjust it anyway you like to get a secure grip and position on your rifle. Not only does it work well but it also dresses up your rail nicely! Cool product!

Purchased for my Extar EP9. I was looking for a hand stop that had a low profile but handled my larger hands. The grip is comfortable and does not hinder performance. Works great and fits perfectly. The product is well made.

I wanted to build a carbine that was more than just a budget build. I think I've done that, with the MAGPUL furniture. The hand stop will allow a shooter the ability to have full control of the carbine. It also looks real good.

Only complaint I have is , I order a lot of products through the website. I have yet to be given any incentives to keep ordering. Coupons for similar products would be nice. Anything to keep me from looking at other sites when purchasing is what I mean.

I bought this hand stop kit along with the new xtm enhanced rail panels as a replacement for the vertical grip on my rail system. When I set the kit up in the default configuration, I didn't really care for it. It felt a little uncomfortable for my normal hand positioning, and combined with the xtm panels, made my forend more bulky. However, after some creative rail placement of the hand stops and rail panels, I was able to create a grip that feels tailor made for my hand. A huge ergonomic improvement over a vertical grip or AFG. I will only be using these from now on. I would definitely recommend this product, and would also recommend trying different configurations until you find one that's perfect for you.Pros: Very well made, Modular, can be used in multiple configurations to custum fit your grip. Cons: I wish the stippling was more grippy

This product really depends on the application. I used these on a ris 2 which is already bulky and this made handling the handguard like handling a chunk of fire wood. On the smaller diameter DDM4 quad rail these snap on hand stop/pic covers are better than grabbing picatinny. This is what I mean by application. It does do its job as a hand stop. Attaching them is very easy unless you have arthritis. Removing them on the other hand can be a pain in the you know what. Given the limited options out there I guess they are good enough.
