Mueller Optics 8.5-25x 50mm Eraticator Red Dot Rifle Scope has become very popular among rimfire shooters. This is due to the short range focusing capabilities and will focus down to a minimum of 15 yds. The Mueller Optics Rifle Scope features a micro-fine crosshair with illuminated micro-dot. The reticle was designed by Mueller Optics for long range shots on small targets such as prairie dogs but can also be used for long range big game hunting. The design of the micro-fine cross hair will eliminate the possibility of the the hairs covering the target at longer ranges. For normal daylight conditions the varmint reticle of the 8.5-25x50mm Eraticator Water Proof Scope has a standard black micro dot centered in a micro-fine cross hair. During low light conditions or when viewing dark targets, the black dot can be illuminated red and fine tuned with 11 brightness intensity settings. I purchased this scope for a custom 597 bench rest 22. The scope fits perfect. I wouldn't want a closers fit. Fine cross hairs are amazing on this scope. At 50 yards I'm shooting 10 round groups all in one hole.Anyone looking for a scope for a 22 this is the one and at a great price.

The Mueller Eraticator 8.5-25x50AO made in China part Number MU852550IGR .It is a precision rifle scope,you’ll be able to achieve excellent adjustments with this scope. It has one eight adjustments in vertical and horizontal.The vertical crosshairs has two hundred and forty two clicks in it. When centered that’s 15.125 inches in either direction,(up and down ).the horizontal has a total of four hundred and fifty two clicks and when it’s centered comes out to a total of two hundred and twenty six clicks.That means a total of twenty eight and one quarter-(28.250 inches) and if that isn’t enough for you Optic Planent offers scope ring shims for seven dollars and some change.I would recommend these shims for any 22lr .For your center fire rifle the right scope ring should work it wouldn’t hurt to pick these shims up to just in case at that price it can’t hurt.Now on to the turrets-excellent positive feel with each click, parallax adjustments can be adjusted a little below 20 yards in using mind l was able to adjust way shorter then 50 feet didn’t try any closer tho I know I could go closer.-Tracking ability only tested the horizontal,adjusted five times each at 1inch 5 shot came out to five even 1 inch spacing straight across my target excellent. The cross hair are micro fine with a one eight dot in the center excellent for shooting at targets! Clearness of these lens are great they exceeded my expectations and I have two vortexes 6x24x50 And at 25x the scope was clear. Need I say more I can’t .After coming home from the range I order another one. This will be my last review 3,394 characters left -OPTIC PLANENT IS THE BEST TO DEAL WITH BY FAR – GREAT PEOPLE! Yeah

Mueller has done a great job on the engineering and QA for this scope. I've owned Leopolds and Nikons in the $450-650 price range. None match the magnification range of the Eraticator, and construction, quality of optics and zero stability are easily on par. Unbeatable value for the $.My only wish is for reticle options beyond the most basic unmarked crosshairs. If you need monster magnification and clarity but are depending on your scope for range estimation, you'll need a different (and more expensive) unit.Pros: Monster magnification, bright and clear optics, stable zeroCons: Basic reticle

Very good scope. Designed for long range shooting.All controls are easy to use. Scope reticule lights up. Be sure to buy mounts for 50mm objective lens. Scope comes in silver too. Highly recommend this scope and Optics Planet.

I was a little sceptical when I purchased this scope because it was a lot of scope for a NOT a lot of money. I took a gamble and bought it anyway and could not be more pleased. Finish was great, AO is great,, very nice eye relief, The reticle Is perfect for shooting at distance. And the most impressive is the clarity at full magnification. I pointed the scope alone ( not mounted on the rifle yet), maxed out at 25x zoom,at my dog at 10 yards and could read her name tag. I would say before anyone goes out and pays $1,000+ for a similar scope with the name nightforce or Leopold on it, to consider this one and save your money.
