Another good product from Otis. Makes hard to clean AR star chamber easy. Scrape loose the junk then switch to the felt pads to remove the loose debris. So far it's the best tool I have found for this application.

This tool works very well. The scrapper gets rid of carbon build up while the soft pad with a cleaning solution eliminates any residue. I recommend buying an additional package of pads. I used one for 3 cleanings. I like it.

This product makes ZERO sense, except to separate AR users from their money, which is more than a cottage industry at this point. A "steel scraper" is not something you want to insert into the barrel extension… but don't worry if you already have because it doesn't fit snug enough to do anything. The soft pads are an interesting concept, but they just spin on the axis of the part that attaches it to the rod, so there's no resistance and no effect. A pack of replacement pads are priced similar to a box of 5.56 ammo. I use the handle to attach a dedicated chamber brush so I don't have to swap out attachments with my bore rod, other than that, this is just another 'miracle' gimmick that doesn't hold a candle to cotton swabs and a chamber mop.
