Advanced thinking, AR10 Upeer Vise Block. Traditional clamp style upper blocks fit poorly and can exert enough inward pressure to damage the receiver when applying torque to a barrel nut or flash suppressor. Thats bad design. So, we designed an upper block that leverages the strongest part of the gun the barrel lugs inside the star chamber. The Lug-Lok is precision machined and precisely fits into all Mil-Spec uppers. It mates perfectly with the barrel lugs, while allowing you to rotate the upper to be able to work on different sides. There are 2 vise pins that allow you to hold the upper at multiple working angles and prevent unwanted rotation during high torque application. The lock knob keeps Lug-Lok seated into the barrel lugs. The result the safest, easiest and smartest way to lock down an AR15 or AR10 upper into a bench vise. Avid does make some great products. I have yet to be disappointed. I needed a reaction rod for a DPMS build. This was just as great as the one I purchased for my AR-15 builds. I highly recomend and you will not be disappointed either.

I have the Real Avid armorer’s vises and this pairs with it perfectly. They also designed it to work with most normal vises.You’ll need proper support when mounting your barrel and muzzle device to your upper, and this vise block provides the support you’ll need.The right tools make all the difference. The price is probably a bit high for most, but it’ll be a tool you’ll be able to use for a long time.Because we both know you’re going to be spending even more money on another build.

I have the AR15 version; it is fantastic and works brilliantly. For my AR10 build, I waffled to spend the money for this tool (for just 1 use). I regret doing so. When placing it on my Wilson Combat 308 barrel, it didn't fit. The teeth at the end had too large a circumference and it would only fit halfway in the breech. So, I think that I now have to file it down to decrease the circumference. I usually love Real-Avid products, but regret this one.

If you are working with the larger bore AR platform barrels this is a must have item. securely vise up your AR10 barrels installed or uninstalled from upper receivers with damage free torqueing to barrel nuts and delta ring etc…

I recently used this Real Avid Lug Lok on an AR10 build. The product works exactly as advertised. The fit to the receiver was exact and provided the needed stability for the barrel and muzzle device installation. It is well worth the money and I would highly recommend it for an AR10 build.

The vise block/action rod has performed well. I have used it 3 times and it holds rock solid. I was concerned as it is made of aluminum but it is a solid tool Torqued to 65 ft pounds with no issues. There is no damage to the lugs and only a few marks from sliding the uppers on and off. Very satisfied with it.
