If you build ar 15's, this is a great tool to have. I can not believe I am on my 4th build without one. Never going back. I was skeptical at first but this thing is the real deal. Only suggestion to real avid is to make to completely out of stainless steel or chrome moly; however, I do understand keeping the price down. Thus the 4 stars instead of 5.

Don’t waste your money. I read the directions used it just like it said the detent cut a notch in the thing that holds the spring and detent in. Then I couldn’t pull the plastic thing out rendered the hole thing useless They made the thing to push em in metal then the thing you turn to hold the spring and detent plastic go figure.

Saves from shooting detents and springs across the room. Saves money on replacement parts you would normally lose (shot across the room). Alot of nice tools that don't cost alot but save alot of time. Took a few tries to figure out how it works but not much time was spent on that.
