The SIG SAUER ROMEO Zero Elite 1x24mm Reflex Red Dot Sight shares the same ultra-compact size and mounting footprint of the popular ROMEOZero micro red dot, but is loaded with a host of premium upgrades. Starting with the scratch-resistant glass aspherical lens delivering unmatched clarity and a distortion-free sight picture when compared to competitors, the proprietary carbon-infused polymer housing with reinforced lens area also gives the SIG SAUER ROMEO Zero Elite 1x24mm Reflex Red Dot Sight an even greater level of drop protection, making it incredibly rugged. I really love this optic. It took me a while to get used to it because it’s so many features of brightness. When I take it outside or go into the range, it is very clear, visible, and easy to put on the target. I did not have to zero in the end. It shoots very accurately well within the scope of the target.

Fast and accurate target acquisition combined with the Mantis X3 target practice training device it has reduced my grouping to about 2" at 10-15 yards. The price is fairly affordable allowing me to install it on my P365XL and Glock 19 G5.

I purchased this red dot to put on my Springfield Hellcat and it fit like a glove. No cutting screws are wondering if they are too long. Instructions tells you which package of screws to use, no guessing. Easy to sight in and well worth the money. A lot better than the standard Sig Zero. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Had the Romeo Zero before but I have alway liked the Eotech type reticle and this is the main reason I upgraded to the elite. I have only have had the sight two weeks but with the Sig reputation I am sure it will holdup for my use . I have noticed other consumers complain about the button placement but to me it’s a set and forget issue . The battery replacement does require removing to replace but my original zero only need replacement once a year . I expect to change the battery more often with the elite because of the bigger reticle. I saw very little to none change of zero during battery change on the Zero so I expect the elite will be the same .

I purchased this red dot to replace the red dot on my Springfield Hellcat. I liked the idea of having a red circle with a red dot center. I felt it would help in aquiring a target faster. The red dot is bright and sharp and is quick to pick up the red dot as I hoped it would.My only problem I had was in mounting the red dot. I had the screws torqued down as the instructions specified. I could see a little bit of light underneath the red dot, but it was tight on the gun, so I thought it must be ok. I went to the range to shoot with it, and it immediayely began to move on the gun. The screws were not loose. I removed the red dot and attempted to reinstall it. I found that the only way, you could get the sight to sit flush with the top of the gun was to lighly tap the top of the red dot to get it to fully seat over the two small post that keep the front of the red dot from moving side to side. I have not had any problems since then.Other than the above mentioned problem, I would highly recomend this red dot.

As stated all across the reviews: the controls are cumbersome, having to reach right in front of the glass and likely smudging up the sight window. If you will require to change the brightness setting often between indoor and bright sunshine use: this is not the sight you want. Changing the reticle brightness has never been a big concern for me, hence the 4 star rating. I find my favorite setting, done. I turn off the automatic adjustment on the sights that have that feature. But that's me and to each his own.This is on top of a Tango LPVO at 12 o'clock for close target acquisition, set on medium brightness for indoor and most outdoor situations. BEO/head up provides optimal situational awareness and even with the relatively far forward mounting of the sight (front end of Tango) the circle dot stays prominent, also resulting in absolutely zero FOV obstruction.1,000+ rounds of 55 grain 5.56, holding zero perfectlyThe shroud provides sufficient protection for the use this will see with me. Would I throw this rig against a rock? Probably not.Side note: I saw some reviews mentioning the loss of zero due to battery change and also the use of the smaller batteries. Well, that is how it is with these very small red dots. The task related fit of any aiming device will always result in strengths and shortcomings. Good ole pre-purchase research proves helpful to avoid disappointment.
