The ROMEO2 is built for use in adverse conditions. A 3 MOA or 6 MOA red dot with 15 brightness settings ensures rapid target engagement. The sight features a high-efficiency, point source LED emitter and molded aspheric glass lens, utilizing a high-performance red notch reflector coating for excellent brightness and light transmittance with zero distortion. The 7075 aluminum housing and ruggedized steel shrouds protect the ROMEO2 from extreme impacts and drops. The ROMEO2 maintains 25,000 hours of battery life, comes with MOTAC to automatically power the optic on and off, and is compatible with all SIG pistols that have the newer PRO-CUT slide. I am mostly very pleased with this optic. It’s a bit blurry for me but that’s mostly a “me” thing and not a fault of the optic. I’d honestly prefer to have this in green. The install was easy and zeroing didn’t take long. If you use proper technique, this is a brutally fast way for a mediocre shooter to put rounds on target effectively. I’m a busy professional and don’t have a lot of time to dedicate to the range so I need my equipment to work accurately and consistently. That’s why I spent the money on a nice optic for my Sig Xten. I am not a competition shooter. My 10mm sidearm is for self defense in the woods. I want to put 2-4 rounds on target fast and this enables me to accomplish that without hours and hours at the range. That said, now I WANT to practice that much because the combination is spectacular. Kudos to Sig, and thanks to optics planet for getting it to me quickly after quite a kerfuffle with my credit card zip code. (I just moved and had to make the order like 5 times to get it to go through)
