Right off the bat, lost a star because it is advertised as, and is clearly stated in the description as a 1 MOA DOT. It is not, order form that came with package, and the box indicate 2 MOA DOT. Miss leading! BUT, it doesn't mean its a bad optic, and I am okay with 2 MOA as some of the best red dots on the market are 2 MOA. Just speaking to the misleading information on the website.I will do another review of the optic after use, and I will note that the screws on the base mount do not have an locktite on them so I will be adding that in the near future.

I bought the red and green dot versions of the romeo5 gen 2 and really like the improvements over the first gen. The T-mount is great. The screw to torque it down was made much larger so stripping the scre is less of a worry. Overall it's a great dot, easy to zero and looks great when mounted. I think it is one of the best budget rifle optics on the market and highly recommend it.

I put on my Ruger PC Magpul backpacker with the lower mount and it is very ergonomic with the cheek weld on the higher comb. It doesn’t have co-witness with the iron sights. I really like the green dot with my astigmatism. Use the old battery in the coin slot of the battery cover, it’s too wide for a screwdriver. This was perfect in my PCC.

What it is, is green, so much better than old red. My battery arrived dead, so was not off to great start. As noted by others it is a not a 1 MOA dot as listed under features. It listed under specs as a – Dual reticule:2 MOA Dot or Circle Dot. It is NOT and was disappointed to find this out. Investigating after (I should have check first) on Sig website, I find part of the problem is Sig's fault along with Optics Planet. Sig has an "Elite version" that is only in a red reticule that actually has a Quad Ballistic Circle Dot 2.0. There is no elite version for green. Newer style turrets without cap to lose are nice. On fence on new I-beam mount. Old style mount could use Back Up Iron Sights without having to remove. New I-beam ones do give a bit better field of view.

Overall a great red dot and received fast. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the battery arrived dead. After replacing it works great

I am a big fan of the Sig Sauer Romeo 5 and was really excited to see a Gen 2. It is now offered in green as well as red for the dot. Really like the new T mount they added as well. In my opinion this is the best budget optic on the market. I highly recommend it.
