Description

If you’re looking for a Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO), you need to check out the SIG SAUER Tango-MSR FFP 1-10x26mm Rifle Scope 34mm Tube. Like other First Focal Plane (FFP) AR15 Rifle Scopes, the reticle enlarges and shrinks according to your magnification, as it is placed after the magnifier in the optic. With up to 10x magnification, you can use the SIG SAUER Tango-MSR at close-, medium-, and even long-range engagements, making it an excellent all-around rifle scope. It has a 0.5 MOA adjustment click value, providing extreme precision in dialing in your shots. Plus, the 11 brightness settings let you tune the reticle to your environment so that you can see it clearly regardless of the time of day. This scope has very clear glass and easy at adjust the diopter to get the crystal clear picture you need. Mounting the optic into the mount was a simple process with the leveling line. The line needs to be lined up with the top piece at the bottom edge for it to be level. Changing my zoom is nice and smooth especially with the throw lever. Illumination is great and very bright. This would have earned a five star rating if it came with a killflash. IMO every scope should come with a killflash as an option. I do appreciate that SIG included the scope caps, but a killflash is a must for anyone serious about self defense, hunting, or shooting on bright days. Fortunately there are aftermarket companies that make a killflash that should fit. This optic is a little heavy but the benefits out weigh the extra ounces over a 1-6 or 1-8

Was so excited to receive it and its awsome. Wish i wouldve known about thsi scope sooner

Glass is pretty clear, and the picture is nice. It's a bit hard to line up on the higher magnification, but with some practice it isn't bad. I'd definitely recommend it.

Yes it’s first focal plane. So on 1 or a lower mag your windage/elevation options are not there. But with the light on it basically operates as a red dot until you need to make a longer shot, zoom in and all your windage/elevation are there. The glass is very clear with great low light.

I was in the market for a 1-8 FFP to live on a lwrc 5.56. I tried the strike eagle 1-8 FFP and sig 1-10 FFP. Both had similar qualities with glass distortion at 1x and the high end but both performed excellent at their price points. I ultimately decided on the Sig MSR 1-10 for the extra zoom capability and the fact that it came with a great cantilever mount in the box ($100 addition if you’re going with strike eagle). The only cons I saw vs strike eagle was weight and size. The sig is slightly larger/heavier. Both performed similar with eye relief and are pretty close in price if you consider you’d have to purchase a mount with the strike eagle. Either way great scope… I just happened to end up choosing the MSR.

Usually when people say a product is good for the price, it sometimes means there’s something left on the table and it normally bothers me especially when I could spend a tad more money and have a far superior product had i looked elsewhere. However this scope APPEARS to be priced well enough that you’d have to spend At least double the price to have an optic with a marked improvement in glass/image quality (and I’m a glass snob). Image fills the scope body up well and doesn’t leave a big black donut like some of the other cheaper Asian scopes. Some chromatic aberration is visible but that’s to be expected in this price range. Turrets are nothing to write home about. Quieter and not as positive as I’d like but you’re not really dialing on a scope like this except to zero. Illumination is decent and I’d put it ahead of middle of the pack in a sub $1000 lpvo category. Eyebox is good. It isn’t quite the level of my trijicon 1-8 but it’s also over double the price of this scope. Overall fit/finish and feel I’d place dead nuts with the Vortex Viper line. This scope to me has more overall VALUE than your “budget” lpvos (strike eagle, primary arms slx, Amazon specials etc.) and hits all the marks in the sub $1000 lpvo category. Is it a Razor HD,Trijicon Credo, or Primary Arms PLX? No, and it’s clearly not. But it is priced extremely well for what you get and it doesn’t leave you wishing you paid more for a different optic because it does it’s job well in its price class. It’s also the cheapest 1-10x (I believe). It’s FFP, got a 34mm tube, throw lever AND includes a mount. I never leave reviews but I just had to on this optic. I didn’t have high hopes for it initially with the price being so low but man did it blow me away. Two thumbs up from me.
