good throw for its size with bright spot and enough side spill for walking . Two I got have small yellow tint around the center spot. some rings when testing against the wall but can't notice when using it. This light has a lot better throw and whiter than Inova Radiant 2aa but has smaller side spill. I just took a shower with it and no water got inside. very good overall. I like it.Pros: bright, good throw for its sizeCons: little yellow tint

I purchased this as a replacement to one which is three years old. The only reason I needed a replacement is because the batteries leaked and busted the tail switch (which streamlight says they will repair under warranty). The flashlight is solid, battery run time is excellent when compared to other 2AA LED lights. I carry this light in a belt holster every day for work and never broke the clip. The only visible wear is that after 3 years the black rubber around the lens wore off, which didn't affect performance it only revealed the clear plastic below.Pros: Pretty Indestructable, Good Battery RuntimeCons: Rubber on cap wears off over time

I have bought these flashlights for myself and given them out as Christmas gifts to family members. I have at least a half a dozen of Streamlight flashlights in my home and at my cabin.These could be used in your fishing boat also or while you are out hunting.
