The Strike Industries AR PDW 9mm Buffer enables proper configuration of the SI PDW Stock, SI PDW Stabilizer or pistol length receiver extension to work on most AR-15 9mm direct blowback systems on the market. Made from steel, the buffer housing holds two (x2) tungsten weights and gives you a total of 4.6 ounces. The buffer pad on the buffer housing is made out of a resilient NBR rubber material to absorb the 9mm direct blowback impact. This 9mm buffer includes a flat wire buffer spring that is fine-tuned specifically for the buffer in SI PDW systems and most pistol length buffer tubes, making it simple and complete. Flat wire spring design packs more energy than traditional round wire springs, giving it increased bolt power. Known for efficiency since the flat wire spring is able to store a larger amount of energy in a smaller space. The Strike Industries AR PDW 9mm Buffer gives you the option to use the SI PDW Stock/Stabilizer or a pistol length receiver extension reliably and accurately on an AR 9mm build. Perfect for the 9mm pdw. Bought it install and has ran flawlessly. Would definitely recommend this to any who need a smaller length buffer. If you don’t have a shorter buffer it’s not necessary. Definitely would buy again

First, works great with 9mm and the shorter pistol buffer tube that's just over 5". It takes some effort to get it i n the 5" tube however, it's worth it. NOW THE BUT…..YOU CAN'T BUY IT WITH THE 5" BUFFER TUBE. So if you want this, you MUST buy the full regular AR15 Short Pistol Buffer Tube package and then buy the 9mm buffer and spring. Being forced to pay double and being left with an unnecessary 5.56 buffer and spring feels like being taken to the cleaners. COME ON Srike…..do right by your customers and fix this package. Disposable $$$ isn't a thing these days…so only 4 stars for a 5 star item because over paying is 🙁

I have a psa 9 mm which shouldn’t need this product but unfortunately I had some excessive reverb and trigger slap. It has solved the problem 100%. Kind of wish they would just sell the stock and the heavier set up as an option so you don’t have to upgrade separately. The heavier buffer and extremely long spring did the job that my original stock set up was doing perfectly.
