Fit well. Would use again. Installed easily. FDE color matched Aero upper well. Seemed solid even though it is a polymer. Would like to see a slightly tighter seal to keep out dust and debris. Order came quickly to finish ar10 build

Love this dust cover. Installed on my new Smith & Wesson AR-10. Very easy to install and looks much better than original manufacturers. It took me four times longer to get the old one off than to replace with new one. Works great and installs in seconds. Would highly recommend for any AR.

It fit perfect in my Aero Precision M5 308. No sanding on the one I got, but may want to back off adjustment screw before you close it. closed mine and had a hard time getting it back open. If Strike Industries makes the aluminum one for the ar-10 like the ar-15 I well be try it.

Lots of folks leaving reviews that say it doesn't fit, and you wonder why? I did, so I decided to buy it as I have other Strike Industries dust covers for the AR15 platform, and try it out for myself to see if it truly doesn't fit.First off, you gotta adjust the set-screw that holds the ball bearing for an optimal fit! I think I first saw this on a Strike Industries product video, or maybe it was by reading instructions (duh). Either way, where the little ball bearing is, if you look closely there is a set-screw that the ball bearing is set into, and if you use a small flathead screw driver and push down the ball-bearing, you can tighten (for a "looser fit") or loosen the set-screw (for a "tighter" fit) on the dust cover.When I received mine it would not close without a lot of force. Once I adjusted it maybe half a turn, maybe 3/4ths it was to my liking and it was easy to manipulate the charging handle without excess force coming from a "tight" dust cover. You gotta remember that not all AR308/AR10's are MILSPEC, because that word doesn't truly exist in this platform!!!So, in closing, adjust yours properly and you may find it just does fit (and you don't need to sand or slice it to get it to fit).Happy Days!

Great product. This one is easier to install than stock because there is no need to remove the barrel nutt.

I’ve been using Magpul’s polymer ejection port covers due to their durability (do not warp like aluminum) and ease of installation. Unfortunately Magpul does not make one for large frame AR’s. I was extremely happy with the quality of the Strike Industries Ultimate Dust Cover. Would’ve been 5 stars if install didn’t require tools (like Magpul) and it was a few bucks cheaper.
