Strike Industries FSA Single Folder – Stabilizer Edition

Description

You may already be familiar with our Strike FSA Dual, a modular folding arm solution that can fold to the left and the right with interchangeable stock and stabilizer end pieces. The new Single Folder utilizes the same arm and modular stock/stabilizer end pieces. What’s new is that it has a strengthened hinge made out of steel, instead of aluminum, making it extremely rigid and robust. The fitment is also perfect with little to no play when extended and folded. This folder only folds to a single side but can do so at anytime without any reconfiguration or use of a button. When the hinge is installed to fold left, users will experience similar muscle memory if they’ve already used our Dual Folder – the action is the same to fold. Simply lift up on the arm and fold to the left. In its folded position, the arm can be forcefully thrown back into the extended position for quick deployment with no risk of damage to the hinge thanks to its new beefed up design. The Stabilizer edition of our Single folder has only one QD point located at the 6 o’clock facing position for attaching your favorite sling. The Strike Single Folding Adapter is compatible with any weapon platform that has a rear-facing 1913 Picatinny rail. To attach, simply tighten the hex screw in the hinge adapter onto a pic rail. Look no further for a compact, lightweight, and reliable single folder! On its own, the Single folder is 11oz. With a Cheek Riser it weighs 12.41oz. Whether it’s for our SMC Bravo Chassis, a pistol caliber carbine like the CZ Scorpion, or a PDW style AR-15, the Strike Single Folder is perfect for them all. Get yours today! NOTE: Lubrication of hinge needed for routine maintenance. 1. Just a guy

Great brace! Strong, light weight. Recommend! Put it on a Strike Bravo for P320.

  2. Meercat

I bought the strike Single side folder for a Masterpiece Arm’s 9mm top cocker. It’s rock solid and more ridged than I expected. Very nice folding mechanism that stiff and locks in folded or deployed. Over all a really good brace that’s solid to but against your “four arm”.

  3. FAR

Item seems to be of a high quality.Has some wiggle when folded but who cares (at least I don't).No issue unfolding. I can hold what is the back end of the brace with the gun down horizontally and it does not come unfolded. Yet with a very slight "pop" or "jerk" it unfolds and locks into place.Locks up good and tight when opened without a lot of play. (this, I do care about so I'm happy)

  4. zombie

Fits perfectly looks great! Highly recommend simple to install

  5. Adanedhel

Very sturdy, rail is all aluminum (unlike plastic models from other manufacturers), steel hinge has very positive feedback and is incredibly stable. Can’t imagine a better folding brace.

  6. Coal Cracker

Like all Strike Industries products I've purchased, this folding pistol stabilizer is very well made of very robust materials. I chose this model over another very similar product from another company, mainly because the SI stabilizer has an aluminum strut, as opposed to plastic / polymer strut. Only thing to knock about the design is how it opens. It is not a "pull-through" type where you can just swing out the arm from the folded position. It requires you to grip the strut near the hinge "knuckle", pinching the "knuckle" between the thumb and forefinger of your left hand, with your thumb pressing down on the hinge, while your forefinger pulls up on the back of the strut. Hard to explain without video. If I intended to use this "stabilizer" on a concealed carry PCC/PDW that might need to be deployed rapidly, this would not be my first choice. BTW, as of the time I'm writhing this review (05 Oct 2024), the photo that accompanies the product description is incorrect, displaying the FSA Single Folder – Stock Edition, NOT the Stabilizer Edition.
