Great product at a solid price. Came with installation tool and new spring, install was a breeze and as stated it adds 5 rounds to a G19 magazine with no hiccups. Definitely recommend it, specially for the price

This Strike Industries Extended Magazine Plate For Glock G19 was designed extremely well. Its magazine reloading is much smoother than other mag extensions. It has a no snag design when filled to capacity. Out of everything i bought before…finally got a real bad product. Not sure why, but from a 17rd regular mag, with your guys ext only takes 2 more and supposed to be +5… also the holding plate and screw issue…the little screw got in for some reason didnt locked with holding plate and ots stucked and not coming out. Im still buying more parts from you guys but this is something needs to be fixed.

floor plate barely holds 2 more rounds not 5 as advertised i tried it on a 15 rd magazine then a 17 rd mag then a 19 rd mag i even tried it on a 22rd mag for fun and only got one extra rd im not sure what's going on with it or is it just me

So putting together wasn't hard, the toughest part was getting the original magazine plate off. I really like being able to add 5 more rounds to the already 15rd magazine. The only thing I do not care for is the shaking it makes when its completely loaded, Sounds like a box of tictacs. After loading one in the chamber it quiets down but other than that it has been a great attachment.

So I just ordered 3 of these today for my Gen 5 Glock 23. I installed them on my magazines and figur3d out there os a trick to fitting all 4/5 extra rounds into it.The spring that came with it is more of an extra strength spring rather than and extended length spring. With that said, I would say there is a break in period for the spring. Right after you install the whole plate/ spring assembly, before you put any ammo in it, you gotta get a pencil or a punch and work the spring all the way down and back up a few times. When you do this, you'll here the spring adjust, causing it will seat a bit better without binding up.Now here is the trick. If you dont have a mag loader, i suggest you get one for the break in period of this product. The Glock brand mag loader is only $2.For my Glock 23, i was only able to load 2 extra (40s&w) rounds in by hand and the 3rd wasnt happening. So this is where the mag loader comes in. You gotta put the mag loader on and hold pressure down with your thumb, then you are gonna have to slam the base plate into the palm of your other hand and it is gonna push those rounds down so you can add one more round. Then repeat that until you have all the extra rounds added. After that, I emptied the mag and refilled it the same way a few times to make sure that there spring functioned properly.Once that spring gets broken in, you should be able to load all your extra rounds in by hand.I had everything I needed to make this work, and I figured it out pretty quick, so I'll go ahead and give out 5 stars.
