This is a great compact ACOG.The design is very small and compact.The glass clarity is awesome.The illumination is also very good.As with any ACOG, the best plus is never any batteriesThis would be good for both military or law enforcement use.

Bought the 3×24 low compact 7.62×39 with red cross hair on 11/4/2020. Wait time was supposed to be 2-4 months. Optic arrived 12/10/2020, exceptional service. Optic is awesome, totally expected Trijicon quality. I cannot be happier with the good price and exceptional service from OpticsPlanet.

This model has very good eye relief and a wide field of view, critical for self defense use or hunting. The magnification provides just enough power to clearly identify a target at normal engagement distances within 3-400 meters without sacrificing field of view. Lightweight enough to mount on an AK pattern rifle with a low profile mount, or a 762×39 AR pistol for hunting hogs. The etched glass reticle is also the best choice for anyone with astigmatism, which is generally anyone over the age of 40 due to age related macular degeneration. The reticle won't appear to" flare" or be a squiggly comma. The hold over/rangefinding capability for the 762×39 Russian is a nice touch, especially when using this to hunt hogs or for general self defense use, within the rounds' effective ballistic range of approximately 300 meters. Well it's as well built as all Acog's. Exceptionally clear glass, very bright reticle day or night, super light weight. I have this mounted on a Vepr ak47 using the side rail. Eye relief on this model is very forgiving, and perfect for a standard ak stock. Probably the best optic for an ak.

I mounted this on an Arsenal SAM7SF-84E using RS-Regulate side mount for a very lightweight and sturdy package. Easy to zero in. Optic is clear as expected from Trijicon. It is a bit pricey, but joy of good quality far outlasts the joy of saved money! It was highly recommended by many reviewers as one of the best optics for an AK because of it's low profile and I highly recommend it as well after trying it out. It will live on my AK now!
