  1. YQ

Similar to the ocular cover, the sleeve that goes around the killflash is a rubber tube that easily slips over and adjusts to the clocking position you want. The flip cap and flange are solid plastic, with very positive closing action that won't randomly fly open. I was expecting a solid plastic part, but found that the rubber sleeve is very advantageous.

Just installed the Kill Flash on my ACOG and this Lens Cover attachment not only adds protection to your optics, but it really fits great and a very nice compliment to the looks of the scope on the rifle. Note that this lens cover is designed to be used with the Kill Flash, so the fit and finish is first class.

  3. Adam Garrett

Nice add on for your Acog scope. It’s a lot easier to just flip the cap open, than fidget with a cover or rubber caps. The only thing with this is, you have to have a killflash for this to attach to. Really cheap price from OpticsPlanet!

  4. Hank S.

Works very well. You have to play with it a little bit to get it on but that’s expected. It’s soft rubber that you must stretch over the Anti Flash kill. It’s not a problem. Put it on in a minute.

  5. GunElf

Only the best for the best OEM is the way to go Tried other options and it sucks

The flip cap does cover the lens, so technically it does it's job, but the means by which it is secured to the scope could be better engineered. Having used my rifle with this cap in place only twice now, I have had to push the rubber sleeve back in place both times. This seems to only occur while maneuvering with the flip cap open. By "maneuvering" i mean firing the weapon, then lying it down on my personal bench rest at home, not in woods or thick underbrush. The point is: it should be more secure.
