Trijicon 4×32 ACOG Scope M4A1 Rifle Scope w/ Amber Center Illumination
$1,461.48
The Trijicon ACOG 4×32 Scope TA01NSN w/ Amber Center Illumination for M4A1 fits AR15/M16 flat-top rifles and modifications include an integral rear ghost ring aperture and a tritium glow-in-the-dark front sight(Amber Illumination) for close-combat/back-up sighting. The Trijicon ACOG 4×32 Rifle Scope was designed specifically for the US Special Operations Command SOPMOD M4 Carbine and features the reticle bullet drop compensator and range finding stadia lines that are based on the trajectory of the 62 grain bullet from a 16 inch M4A1 barrel. The black, daytime reticle of the Trijicon ACOG 4×32 Hunting Scope glows red at night and in low light due to its tritium composition. Unique to the Trijicon ACOG sights is its internal adjustment capability – only the prism housing moves – making this the most rugged scope available. These Fixed Power Rifle Scopes from Trijicon will withstand exposure to temperature extremes, salt spray, fog, fungus, humidity, sand, dust, shock vibration and a free fall drop onto a hard surface. Aerospace seals make Trijicon Rifle Scopes waterproof to depths greater than 500 feet and a sighting hole through the M16 integral base permits use of the iron sights without removal of the scope. This Trijicon ACOG 4x32mm Tactical Rifle Scope can be attached to the carrying handle with one or two screws (2nd screw is optional) and the user does not need to make any special adjustments between shots at different ranges. The glass is outstanding and the Trijicon TA01-NSN housing is basically bomb-proof. This is a good match for front sight base carbines. The eye relief is tight, but if you shoot nose to charging handle, you will not have any problems. Your cross hairs will fade against a dark background when going from light to dark.

This ACOG has great clarity and simple backup iron sights, with night sight insert in the front post. The rear post could be removed and replaced with a Trijicon RMR if one so desired. Great sight, great value, bulletproof!

This scope is fantastic. It is the exact same scope I was issued in the Army as an infantryman. It is well made and very durable. Yes it is a bit pricey, but the overall quality of this scope definitely warrants spending the extra money. With a very clear lens and a very precise reticle, I would highly recommend this scope to anyone who wishes to possess the best military grade optic.

This ACOG is the best optic there is for the AR, and the TA01NSN is the best of the best of their line in my opinion. It’s difficult to explain just how hard you’d have to purposefully try to miss using this sight. Spend the money. It’s worth it.

USMC/Army Infantry vet here. This is not the ACOG that was used by any unit I was ever in. That would be the TA31F with the chevron. This one is designed for a 14.5 carbine with M855 (62 grain) ammo for the bullet drop compensator. That is why I got it. The chevron is incredibly useful when speed is critical which is where I can see this falling short. I say that because with no illumination I've found it to be a problem when trying to find the reticle on a dark background like a forest where the reticle becomes almost invisible. With that said, if Trijicon put an illuminated dot in the center of the reticle this would be a perfect optic. I still like this optic because it is very accurate but keep in mind the limitation of reticle blurring with dark backgrounds. I've mounted a trijicon 1 MOA red dot on the back of the sight which I think is obligatory if you want this combat ready. If you're just plinking on the range, this works great by itself. The nightsight illumination is decent for that twilight time before you need your NODS but it's not overwhelming by any stretch, it's faint illumination.

The TA01NSN is a pretty good scope. I used one when I was in the Army deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq. I would definitely recommend this scope to anyone even first time shooters. The scope comes centered already so one just has to shoot it to confirm and/or adjust it. The target reticles are okay and easily seen in low light situations as designed. One can even shoot with both eyes open when using this scope. However target acquisition is a little slower due to the zoom. The iron sights on the top can be used for reflex shots but they are not accurate. But its understandable as how it is not a reflex scope. One could hunt with the scope but don't expect any really long range shots. The scope comes with a lens brush and lens protector although it is quite a durable and resilient piece of hardware I would recommend using rubber lens protector when not in use. Overall I am happy with my purchase and glad to have the Trijicon ACOG in my collection.
