I purchased this scope for my new Scar 16s NRCH. As this is a battle tested scope, I was eager to test it out. I was extremely pleased with the eyes wide open experience. Extremely clear optic with red crosshairs, designed for the 223 rifle. I sighted the rifle in at one hundred yards. With the MOA hashes, I had no trouble shooting some old bowling pins that I picked up cheap from a nearby bowling alley. To reach out to 300 yards, I set the rifle up on a Recon tripod with a Hogg Saddle setup. I had no problem shooting bowling pins with this setup, at 300 yards. And I believe could have easily gone on to 400-600 yds with this setup. But I needed to call it a day. I was very pleased with this scope.

I emailed Trijicon about a scope for a AR with 16" barrel. They answered and said the model M193 was for 5.56mm AR"s' with 16" barrels. They are correct. It work's great. I like it. Works well in low light. Light weight. Needs lense covers.

After coming back to civilian life full time, I thought I’d give every optic I could find a turn to see how they’d run. Everything within the price point of an ACOG fell short at something and certain things excelled! Tango 6T’s glass or Burris’s wind reticle. NOTHING held up across the board quiet like an ACOG. These things have been on multiple deployments, worked under multiple engagements, and do what they’re built to do! Day in, day out! If you want to plink 2 liters in your backyard with your nephew… go buy a Northstar or a Bushnell. If you want to protect what you love, feed your family, or just wanna be a badass!!! Trijicon’s ACOG ticks these boxes

Dating back to my time in service, I will say that IMHO, the ACOG TA31 4x32mm rifle scope is the best optic for an AR for anything close quarters to 300 yards. I've tried a half dozen sights from major players in the optics world with military contracts and I keep coming back to the ACOG. Much more simple and more compact over LVPOs. 4X is the perfect amount of magnification for shooting 10" plates from 15' to 300 yards. The chevron reticle is incredibly simple and more precise than dots due to the infinitely smaller tip of the chevron. No issues with the distortion of dots from projection or digital look of EOTech. The glass is super clear. American made is a plus and the mounting system is simple and strong. Value is great as well, having tried a number of cheaper optics made to compete. Buy once cry once.

Love it! Fantastic, fast scope. My favorite for all purpose plinking with my AR Great up close too and works like a red dot to me. I have it on a LaRue LT100 mount which is awesome. For all around shooting and say hog hunting this is a great scope.

I've used these in every environment we could that has destroyed everything else. Minus 30º to 120º in the shade. Salt water, sand storms, jungles, and mountains. Fell out of aircraft, bounced around in offroad vehicles, and limousines in cities. I own several. If there is one piece of equipment, and one company that I will risk my life too, it is Trijicon. Lol, I'd put one on a fork if I was sure I could take out my high blood pressure with it….
