Well, I was skeptical at first to replace my trapezoidal sights with these 3 dots but, I was convinced when I saw them at night. All 3 glow bright enough for proper alignment and if the need arises to use these at night time, I feel confident that my target will receive a few hollow points to their body. I had a gun smith install these so I can't comment on the difficulty of installation but, it seems straight forward. I would definitely buy these again.

I bought these Trijicon 3-Dot Night Sights for my Steyr S40-A1 pistol. I needed night sights for this carry pistol and Steyr does not offer self-luminous trapezoid sights to replace their unique set-up. After installation, it is a familiar sight picture. The three dots are bright and well defined. This is a significant upgrade for this pistol. FYI: the website shows the option of rectangle shaped rear sight, which I wanted for one-handed slide rack, when needed. This is the only shape available for this pistol (, I checked Trijion's website,) but an exact shape replica of the original Steyr sights. P.S. I received my order 5 days after I placed my order. There was a delay in shipping, but knew there would be. Bought for stery m40 model. Rear fit good but front was loose and gunsmith had to round front of gun to make it fit. Once installed is staying in place. Difference in front and rear sights easy to see.

I bought trigicom night sights for my steyr front sight that sight already lost it’s night sight functions at night so I guess that’s a defective problem! I bought it on 4/26/24 So I mailed that back;IThe service at O P inc. was good;but Iwill never order Trijicon products for my hand guns again!!
