The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding. Along with the 34 mm tube and 28 Miller a jacked up lens diameter the targets are very crisp and clear. The glass on this credo is phenomenal and the 3-4 inch “eye relieve makes it very versatile. I like the choice of using red or green illuminations either color is very bright and easy to see in low light or bright sunlight. Trijicon really put a lot of research and development into this riflescope.

I shoot at least 15 monthly matches and 3 major matches a year. This optic is the BOMB for 3 Gun. I previously spent 4 years behind a Vortex Razor HD 1-6 (great glass, but didn't like the BDC or capped turrets), then 3 years behind a Nightforce NX8 1-8 (ultra light, great MRAD reticle, but tight eye box). The Credo is my dream scope: FFP, simple MRAD reticle, exposed locking turrets, AMAZING glass on a 34 mm tube with huge eye box. I've engaged targets out to 600 yards with my 556 Noveske and had no problem getting first shot hits with this optic. If you compete in 3 Gun, look no further.

Just mounted this scope on my "Do-it-all" BCM 13.7" rifle and I couldn't be more pleased. Alot of the complaints I've seen are with the reticle not being daylight bright but I'm not sure if they have rectified and updated that issue with this "red and green" model but I can say it is "red dot" bright and just awesome that you can choose between green or red! The first focal plane reticle is super fast on 1x much like what I am use to with an Eotech. Along with great eye relief, a very true 1x, 34mm tube and 28mm exit pupil this thing acts almost just as well as a true red dot. When zoomed the reticle gives a nice milled crosshair with a center crosshair. The lines are somewhat thick which sort of obstructs the target and may hinder your acquisition but for a 1-8x I dont see it being a huge issue as it is not intended foe super long range accuracy. I can see this being plenty capable to 600 yards. The magnification dial is super smooth and is very handy with the optional nub lever in luded. For the price point the glass clarity is what you would expect from Trijicon and judging by its weight its built like a tank as well. Unfortunately the exposed turrets do lock but are not a true ZERO STOP! Not a big deal for me but you will have to step up to the Nightforce NX8 for another $500 to get better features like that. Overall I am impressed!

Nicely done with great glass … The big bold segmented circle is a big plus at 1X… However, it is so big and bold at 8X that scanning for targets down range is somewhat hindered .. as with most donut reticles. Situational awareness is much better at 3X to 5x, as with all lpvo scopes. The only other minus is that the locking turrets lift too easily. There seems to be no detent. It is heavy, but I knew that when I ordered it. I love it at 1X. The center (dot) is tiny but the segmented circle is bold and bright enough that seeing the center is not really necessary at close range. As for brightness … Bright enough for me. The red is best in bright conditions. Turning it off in extremely bright conditions works great because the circle is so bold. For my old eyes green works best most of the time. I love having the choice. I recommend it highly as an lpvo to be used primarily at close to moderate ranges. It is also excellent from 3X to 5X .. the best I have seen so far. In fact, this is the best lpvo I own. If you fancy yourself a DMR I recommend a scope with a less obstructive reticle .. Just my opinion.

I have trusted my life to this brand ever since we received the acog in the army , several departments to the sandbox and it never failed me. My red dots are the MRO HD’s , as for LPVO’s I own the credo 1-6 and 1-8’s. Quality is never an issue with Trijicon , heavy yes , but you can beat the snot out of them and they just work. The glass in the 1-8 punches above its weight and is very clear. Controls are great, no true locking turrets but it’s not been a problem for me. You can reach out with this lpvo very easy, reticle is good not the best but very good. I’m not sure why people say this isn’t daylight bright, it’s more than daylight bright. As I said if my life depends on it , it will say trijicon. It will do everything just as good if not better than all the boy band scopes out there ( I’m looking at you nightforce). I have used the night force and the trijicon in military and civilian life and night force is over priced junk , eye relief sucks, it fish eyes and not as clear. Go with the credo , and don’t look back. You will not regret it. There is no perfect lpvo they all make sacrifices, but the credo is well balanced.
