Not very bright and the front sight basically has no white to speak of so very poor when it comes to imprinting the front sight on target fast trust me pass on them. I only considered them because there are few raised suppressor night sights for my FN 509. But OP took them back beat customer service out there!

Just received the Trijicon suppressor height sights for my FN 509. Delivery was quick. Can't wait to have them installed so I can enjoy my suppressor better. I am sure they will serve its purpose perfectly, after all they are Trijicom, a well known and great product.

As stated by another reviewer the front post may be dim from the factory. So was mine. So dim I could not even see any green at arms length away. So I contacted Trijicon and sent the front post back on their dime; got a new one 3 weeks later that was visible (during the pandemic). I inspected the original front post before I sent it back to see if I could see a problem and saw that there was paint covering the tritium (about 30-40% covered) beneath the sapphire bezel, which made the front post extremely dim (unusable dim). Trijicon fixed the issue, free of charge (as they should have) and delivered excellent communication and updates throughout the process. I was courteous with them; they were professional in return. So in conclusion, if you buy these and they are dim (for the reason I stated above); they will make it right. These are 5 star sights and work like a champ on my FNX 9mm. If yours aren't bright, instead of complaining on the web; address the situation with common sense… Trijicon doesn't make sh*t products so know something probably isn't right if you aren't pleased with performance.

The front sight is obscured by the RMR’s base on an FN 509. I got it installed and to my extreme disappointment, the bottom third of the front sight ring is obscured by the RMR. I own three FN 509’s … the first two are FN 509 Tactical MRD’s and they come with suppressor-height night sights that are great. Same on my FNX .45 Tactical. Co-witness is perfect. The RMR’s bottom does peek out above the bottom of the front-sight’s notch, but it is just a sliver and doesn’t interfere with the front sight. The third 509 did not come with night sights – just blacked-out suppressor-height sights. Hence the need to replace them with these Trijicon night sights. But.I contacted Trijicon and Steve in Tech Support told me he never heard this before – while I was going to get my calipers out, he asked others he worked with and none of them had ever heard this. I got my digital calipers out and started taking comparative measurements and the sights were exactly what Trijicon expected. I sent photos of the sight picture where the RMR obstructed front sight and the response I got back from “Steve” was as follows: “Hello Rich, Thank you for your patronage of Trijicon® products and for sending the photographs requested. Unfortunately, I was able to confirm that the sight picture shown is normal for these sights on your FN509 firearm. The sights were originally designed for use with a suppressor, long before optic-ready firearms became prevalent. Unfortunately, we do not have alternate height sights available for it that are taller. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Respectfully, Steve, Trijicon® Technical Support“No complaints; he provided prompt support and was extremely professional. Tomorrow, I’m calling Customer Service to see if they’ll acknowledge this is a problem and will consider modifying their design. I’m hoping they’ll replace what I have. We’ll see how that goes. The right answer might be contacting FN to obtain their factory-standard night sights.
