The ranging reticle of the Trijicon Gunsight is calibrated for 7.62mm (.308 cal) flat-top rifles to 800 meters. The chevron reticle is designed to be zeroed using the tip at 100 meters. The width of the chevron at the base is 5.53 MOA which is 19″ at 300 meters. This allows range estimation for silhouette targets. Trijicon 3.5×35 ACOGs combine traditional, precise distance marksmanship with close-in aiming speed. Although Trijicon ACOG 3.5 x 35 Rifle Scopes TA-11E TA-11EG have many features which are very advantageous for military use, they were developed by Trijicon without government funding. Designed for use with the M16 family, every feature of its mechanical and optical design was chosen for a single purpose: to provide increased hit potential in all lighting conditions – without failure-prone batteries. I would highly recommend one of these. I got one for a SIG Sauer R716 and absolutely love it. If you have any 308 that you are looking to add a scope to, get this one! The eye relief is very good. Easy to install and I’d give it an A++

I ran an Eotech on mine for a long time. Great to 100 yards, but my eyes are long past the ability to site in past that. Last year I went to a TA-11 ACOG on the recommendation of my gun shop owner. It is like night and day. I can usually hit steel at 300 yards, which is the limit of my local range. I liked it so much I put a TA-33 with RMR on my Wilson Combat AR. I am not too pleased with the eye relief, but the RMR is there for quick close shots, so I can take another second to get the Chevron on target for farther distance. I love these ACoGs! I have another TA-11 on layaway for my SCAR 16!

I wish i could give a better review.I wish i received the scope i ordered.I wish i didn't get jerked around by optics planet for a month and still get no item.I wish i bought it somewhere else.I wish this was 200 characters

Highly recommend. If most of, if not all of your shooting is 300 meters or less, you will love it. 20/20 vision, and you are good out to 800 meters hitting a 6” plate. I chose the Amber because I use this optic for hunting also, and the amber stands out the best on all backgrounds, even dry brush. Both eyes open and fast target pickup. Great eyes relief. Another home run from Trijicon. Oh, and you get the best customer service from Optics Planet. Great price and great product.

I’m very happy with the TA11. The chevron reticle is very easy to get used to. Zeroing the acog was very easy, I maybe went through 20 rounds until I got it dialed in to where I like it. If you own an AR platform rifle and are trying to avoid the heavy weight of an LPVO, the TA11 is an outstanding option. Optics Planet was great to deal with. They had it shipped out to me in less than a week. I will absolutely be buying from them again.

I was looking for the best optic for my .308 FN SCAR. I have four leupold Mark 4s, three EoTech EXPS3/2-0 units on other of my long guns but wanted to explore another option for the scar. I'm really glad I opened my eyes to the ACOG. I did replace the TA51 mount with a QD LT-104 so I could R&R the ACOG easy and allow clearance for the reciprocating charging handle on the SCAR. When I first mounted the ACOG and used a laser to do the initial siting I was amazed how close it was out of the box. The elevation and windage adjustments are crisp and done with fingers not tools. The fiber optic lighting means no battery worries and night time illumination is courtesy of tritium. This thing is rock solid and sleek. If you have never used an ACOG and have kept to the EoTechs don't be afraid to step up. The 3.5X magnification is great and the BAC versions can still be used with both eyes open. There are a lot of reticle types to choose from so figure out which one will work for your needs. I was impressed that even though it is magnified and I figured there might be some eye relief issues, it was more like a red dot than glass scope. I really like the 3.5X on the ACOG over the 3X multiplers for my EoTechs. Don't get me wrong I love all three of the Eotechs and the 4 Leupolds I own they have a place but for they way I intend to dress the SCAR the ACOG TA11E is sweet!Pros: No eye relief issues, clean clear 3.5X view, easy to adjust, fiber optic and tritium illumination, durableCons: Expensive but value is never cheap
