Description

Trijicon ACOG 5.5×50 Gunsight with Red Chevron BAC Flattop .223 Reticle TA55 includes Trijicon Flat Top Adapter. The chevron reticle of the Trijicon Rifle Scope is designed to be zeroed using the tip at 100 meters. The width of the chevron at the base is 5.53 MOA which is 19″ at 300 meters. This allows range estimation for silhouette targets. Trijicon TA55 5.5 x 50mm ACOG Advanced Combat Optical Gunsights hit fast in any light. Trijicon ACOG 5.5 x 50 Rifle Scopes are internally-adjustable, compact telescopic sights with tritium illuminated reticle patterns for use in low light or at night. Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC) models feature bright daytime reticles using fiber optics which collect ambient light. Trijicon 5.5×50 ACOGs combine traditional, precise distance marksmanship with close-in aiming speed. Although Trijicon ACOG 5.5 x 50mm Rifle Scopes TA-55 have many features which are very advantageous for military use, they were developed by Trijicon without government funding. Designed for use with the M16 family, every feature of its mechanical and optical design was chosen for a single purpose: to provide increased hit potential in all lighting conditions – without failure-prone batteries. Agreed. Nighttime visibility is surprisingly good. Magnification seems much higher that 5.5. Rock solid even with the trijicon quick connects. Fiber optic rail gathers a lot of light. Tritium works well with no light. I like the scope.

This 5.5 x 50 ACOG joins the other Trijicon scopes on my rifles. I am a happy customer because of the durability and utility of these scopes. My eyesight is not the best and I rely on ACOG's at my club's 300-yard range. The only thing that I'm undecided on is the chevron reticle in the new scope. The concept makes sense but I guess I just like crosshairs. I wish that I had the option of switching reticles but that doesn't seem to be available on any of the scopes that I own.

love TRIJICON products due construction or because they are built to last. the thought process or desigh TRIJICON has put into their products has been through the roof, if many more US companies would benchmark TRIJICON then they would be amazed of profits and product plus they main word pleasing the customer.oh, leftout great C.S. dept.Pros: very clear, impressed @ nighttime, seems more than 5.5Cons: could give me a hat or banner, very pricey

The TA55 might be the most underrated ACOG. Yes it looks a little weird on the rail but it's exceptionally well built, and it's as easy to mount as the TA11 (I think the TA11 and 55 share a lot in common with their enhanced eye relief and slightly narrower FOV)This unit is great for a DMR build or anyone looking to stretch out beyond the normal 4×32

Great scope super clear won’t be doing any CQC with this Target identification.Everyone who looks through it says how clear the glass is.Have a 400 dollar 1-8 and this thing poops on that all Day long
