Came with a nice thread protector. Nice tight fit after battery. Cycled perfectly and not fussy about ammo. Will eat any 9mm. 3/4" MOA at 50 ft. bench rest. Will do better with correct ammo. I don't know where this was made (OpticsPlanet exclusive?) but the quality is there.

This is a nice barrel. It functions well. I went the extra $20 over the lone wolf due to the nitride coating, but will need to spend another $20 to get a thread protector. The threads are proper (45 cal) .578×28 not 1/2×28 that are listed in some parts of the add. Just be aware the thread protector is not included, so order one when you order this barrel. (With the free shipping on the Lone Wolf I could have saved money buying the Lone Wolf Alfa nitride barrel w/ thread protector) It is still a nice barrel…

For those writing about issues with the threads on these barrels, I’m not sure if you’re aware or not but some Glock 21 barrels are threaded with a metric thread pitch which is 16×1 Left Hand threads. Meaning it screws on counter clockwise. Perhaps that’s the case with these barrels. There is absolutely now way a Glock 21 barrel is threaded in 1/2-28 because of the diameter of the barrel. I hope this helps. For the record, I do not own this barrel but in order to write this review I had to rate the product. Good Luck

The titanium coated barrel not only looks good but it dropped right in without any issue. Shooting standard target ammo not only were there no malfunctions but the felt recoil was actually less than that of the standard barrel and accuracy was greatly improved at 30 yards and beyond. Some issues with cycling hollow points however federal critical defense and Sig defense cycled without failure to feed flawlessly

I assumed the guys saying the threads were wrong were probably just using the wrong piston or something. Not the case unfortunately. The threads are neither.578×28 OR 1/2×28. My.578×28 piston threads on about 1 thread then stops completely.
