Locate the set screws provided to you. Hand tighten the compensator onto your barrel, making sure to leave clearance between your slide and the rear of the compensator (Note: Installing the compensator too close to the slide will affect the performance of the pistol). Once the compensator is in place, place one set screw in each hole. Using the Allen wrench provided, tighten each of the screws individually, hand tight, until the compensator is secure, and does not rotate. The set screws provided have a thread lock patch on them. If they are removed for any reason after installation, we advise re-applying a thread locker before re-installing the compensator. I admit, I was skeptical about this compensator but figured I'd give it a go for the price….I was wrong to be worried. Mounted on my Glock 48 9mm it reduced muzzle flip MUCH more efficiently than I would have guessed. The TIN coating (gold) has, so fat, held up to about 300 rounds in less than an hour. I'm extremely impressed so far. I highly suggest MORE thread lock though, the factory thread lock was not enough snd eas continuously backing out while shooting, nothing a little Loc-tite won't fix.

I've used most of the "top" pistol compensators and to be honest, I think this Trybe comp performs the best for my G19. The performance and the price make this comp one of my favorite upgrades to date.

I read several articles on comps and have one on my concealed carry that came from the factory with it on it shoots great but never really knew if the comp was making a difference so I choose this TRYBE UNIVERSAL for my battle pistol and the difference was immediate and very apparent. My son and I have twin XDM elites and you could switch between the guns and fell the recoil and barrel rise differences. It was also very noticeable on the training videos we took to review our form. I do not care for the fit due to the gap between frame and comp but hey its universal and was way more effective than expected. I went with the single port and shoot 115 9mm and did NOT need to change my spring.

Bought this little compensator for my Tisas Stormtrooper it reduced flip just enough that my green dot barely gets off target between rounds its a longer barrell to begin with but its improved the fun factor a bunch ! Trybe has always been a good product for me

I never thought about buying one, but after watching john wick 4, and his TTI Pit Viper, I noticed he has a permanent comp on his 2011. when I saw that the pit viper cost 7K (if you can ever get one), i decided to try some cheaper version on my Glock 17 Gen 3. i have to say this is super cool. Does it work? Yes. is it keeping the firearm super flat thanks to it? Probably not as much as the 7K Pit Viper. but this product is less than 50 bucks, so far holding well on my firearm and seems to give about 25%-50% improvement with recoil. i didn't do a scientific test so dont quote me on these. after about 400-500 rounds of various ammo, i think if you use +P ammo, it is where the improvement will be most noticeable. since the attachment is with 2 screws, i would not recommend it for EDC firearm as it does increase the length of it which might not work with all holsters and make it less convenient in appendix carry. i also wouldn't recommend it if you are obsessed with cleaning firearms. it screws first and then uses 2 screws (and I added blue loctite) so if you need to take out the barrel it will get in the way each time which can be annoying.

I have 3 of these now. Roughly 2000 rounds through them total. All 9mm handguns. Big fan. They work great, look good. nuff said. I plan on getting a bunch more. Now I just need something with similar styling for my AR and I will be set.
