This is a great torque wrench for the job! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality tool! I bought a cheaper wrench and ended up returning it for the Vortex. It also has all the bits needed included in the kit.

The only reason I am not giving this product 5 stars is the fact the bits do not stay in place as they are not magnetized and fit very loose. Really surprised with this given the quality I'm used to from Vortex. However even with this I would still strongly recommend over the Wheeler Fat Wrench.

The Torque wrench I order is great. Can be used for so many different things. However I bought this one specifically for my guns. Looks forward to making more purchases from this company. Great customer service and fast shipping.
Universal loader –
This is a quality built tool that has precision adjustments unlike other Fat Wrench’s that are plastic and flimsy. Solid metal construction and heavy rubber handle feels great when using. With the 1 inch lbs adjustment that clicks for each level your confident on setting using it on your gun and scopes. The only thing somewhat of a negative is the case which does not match this high end quality tool.

really like how easy this wrench is to use. it makes installation of scopes very simple. I do wish it provided a better storage solution for the bits though because they are all just thrown into a small plastic bag. also, I wish it would go past 50. either way. it works well and is suited for most purposes.
A81 –
This is well-built and calibrated, but only goes up to 50 inch pounds. That clearly isn't enough for applications that require 55-65 inch-pounds, such as many precision scope bases. My included torx bit also stripped during a 45-50 inch pound install, causing an issue with an 8-40 screw. For rings, this is potentially a great torque wrench. But who only tightens scope rings? For precision bases, I would only use this as a last resort. I'm also not a fan of the packaging this came in, although that is a minor complaint. This came in a tube instead of a form-fitted case. I would recommend a wrench that goes up to 65 inch pounds instead of this one.
