I purchased the 5-25 originally and loved it. Put it on a heavy 6.5 needs more. So when I saw they had a 3-15 that saved some weight and had the same features I put it on my carbon Bergara 22. I have a PA 3-18 slx that was a bit more on a 6 arc, both scopes are comparable, I would say my eyes seem to prefer the vortex glass over the slx but both are capable of shooting out to 600+(I didn’t try with the 22 but the glass looked great looking out there).

Picked up this scope on sale the other day before my OP bucks expired, WOW what a product!

I paid $359 for this scope plus another $150 for scope mount. I have 3 other Vortex (all PST Vipers gen2). I don't use illuminated reticles so don't miss that. The optical quality is great for the money. Is it as good as a ZeroComp, Kahles, Leupold or other top tier scope? No, you still get what you pay for, but the value for the money here is what caused me to purchase and I would do so again. Zero stop is more finicky to set up but am willing to deal with that. Elevation knob feels like my other scopes. Solid clicks. Windage knob is capped, but no big deal. The magnification ring snapped off as I was trying to tighten, but I know they will send another for free.Weight and length are not bad either. If you're looking to get a 34mm main tube, first focal plane scope with decent features, this is worth your attention.

I have Many Vortex Rifle Scopes on many different caliber rifles. Vortex Venom is my Go to for cost and unmatched performance. Holds zero and responds to your adjustments! If you have never used a First Focal Plane give this one a try you'll never go back to a 2nd FP!

Bought it for a Ruger American Hunter, with intent to have a budget 600 yard shooter. Blown away by the quality and features for the money. Reticle and image is crisp from edge to edge at max power, with no blur or aberration. Side focus and magnification are smooth and firm. Clicks on elevation and windage are audible, and precise, though they could be slightly more positive. Windage was just a bit soft/ mushy, but elevation was solid. In daylight it’s excellent, though in low light the center dot of the reticle can be lost in dark areas. Overall the scope is feature packed for the budget price tag it has. The included sun shade, throw lever, and (quality) lend caps are icing on the cake. Vortex hit this one out of the park for a budget FFP precision scope.

This scope is perfect for long Range shooting. It can cover a gambit of calibers do to its incredible amount of elevation adjustments and parallax range. I put it on my CVA LR-X .50 cal. and it let me create a dope chart from 50-500 yards. When using the rev-stop system it gives me 47.75 moa of adjustment which is plenty to get out to a 1000 yards with most center fire cartridges. It’s in the midrange of weight at 24oz so it’s not too bad to carry when mounted on a lightweight mountain rife. All this and a $350 price tag you can’t beat it.
