If you have gun dogs this is an excellent product to get them used to the sound and scent of firearms without burning through expensive ammunition. Crazy but even .22 LR is going through the roof (thanks Dems). Starting puppies out early on 22 short blanks has been a big help to me over the years. When they grow up with this it is just a normal experience.

For the past several years .22 Winchester shells have been worthless. Normally 2 out out 5 were duds. It became very frustrating to both the starter and the runners when trying to start a race and the shell would not fire. These shells from Optics Planet fire 99.9% of the time with both a loud report and plenty of smoke, both of which are essential when starting a race during a track and field meet.
