I built a P80 G26 a year or so ago with Zaffiri ported slide and barrel. It never functioned well regardless of ammo. I kept thinking I messed up the lower during milling and kept trying to smooth everything out. Nothing worked so I figured the porting was letting off too much energy too soon to let the slide fully cycle. This threaded barrel proved me right. Dropped it in and the pistol cycled flawlessly with different ammo types. Thread protector definitely needs a pressure device like o-ring or spring washer as it did keep coming loose.
