Wow! This was worth every penny. I bought the crimson trace green laser to replace my lasermax red laser. The laser max worked fine but i couldn't find a holster that would work for it. This crimson trace came with a bladetech holster that seems a bit bulky but works perfectly. I have since bought a new shell for my aliengear cloaktuck that works perfectly. I can't believe i didnt get one in the first place. Pros:quality, appearance, accuracy, self confidence, ease of install. Cons: being very picky about it… the button to activate the laser is very touchy, had to spend about 10 minutes adjusting the laser so it was close enough to a 7 yards to only need a couple shots to zero it. To sum it up. would I buy again YES definitely i own two already both bought from Opticsplanet.com

Item installed without a hitch. It seems to lock up tight on the gun and looks well designed. Preliminary adjustment was simple and co-witnessed to front sight easily One complaint was I was a bit surprised that the dot was a complaint washout in daylight while trying to sight it in at the range. I guess that why folks are going to green lasers. That said, I don't intend to use it in the daylight so for that purpose it is just fine. The only other minor niggle is that on a gun like the Shield, there is not much real estate for your fingers, so it takes focus to not activate the laser just in the act of picking up the gun.

Crimson Trace is by far the best Gun Laser for the price. Fit and finish and great. The laser is a very strong beam. This kit even came with a pocket holster that makes life a lot easier. They also back their product in case a Failure. They also have a lifetime free battery you might want to look into and see if you qualify.

This sight is specifically meant for the Smith and Wesson M&P Shield handgun. It is very easy to install and very easy to properly sight, especially if you have a bore sight. It makes this tool the perfect personal defense weapon and is awesome for concealed carry.

I bought Laserguard 459G for my S/w 9EZ fit and finish is excellent, looks like it was made at the S/W factory as part of the the gun.I have a red laser from another company on one of my guns. This Laserguard green makes a difference of night and day in being able to see your target. The green is so bright you will never lose sight of your target no matter how far away. Any lasers I buy in the future will be Crimson Trace Green. I have shot several boxes of ammo thru the gun with no adjustments needed.

As a long time shooter, I was a bit skeptical of the effectiveness of laser sights. After training with the laser in low light scenarios,I find myself wanting lasers on all of my defensive handguns. Realistic defensive training with a flashlight proved to me that the laser is much easier and more accurate than iron sights. Unconventional shooting positions are now easy to hit from. A friend of mine employed a CTC laser in the real world. The dirtbag that threatened his life had a change of heart when he realized a laser dot was floating on his COM. He broke and ran. This potentially saved his life and saved my friend from the trauma and legal aspects of a defensive shooting.Another advantage of the laser is that it mitigates the short sight radius of many modern CCW pistols. It makes my M&P Shield a much more effective defensive weapon.Pros: instinctive, great in low lightCons: requires new holsters, added expense
